HOW TO SAVE MONEY ON DIAPER PAILS TRASH BAGS!

Okay I will admit my dear readers, my baby's first year was fraught with worry about finding my baby's diaper pail's bags!! The diaper pail I use is called the Diaper DEKOR! It is an ingenious device, whereby you yes you the parent reading this, steps on the lever, out pops the trap door, you drop the messy diaper and voila, bliss! You are free!

Now there was only one catch, when the diaper bags run on the the Diaper DEKOR.  You will have no choice but to run out to purchase this bags and boy do they cost a fortune. At the time of writing this article, these bags cost 17.99 on Amazon. Yes, 17.99 for trash bags that will run out before you know it.

My solution

I finally realized all I had to do to stop throwing away money was buy "baking soda" and "scented trash bags" from Target.

Total cost: 5.99.



Not only did these bags do the trick, they also limited the smell which at a time could not be avoided each time the trap door opens or when taking out the trash.

So there you have it dear readers that is your money saving tip of the day. I wish someone had told my about it when I was a new mom. What do you do to save money? I want to know.
